Maley’s YVC team wins championship

Ryan Maley, Rosalia High graduate of 2014 and currently a sophomore at Yakima Valley College, was a member of the baseball team which won the 2016 NWAC Championship May 30 at Lower Columbia College in Longview. Thirty-two teams make up the NWAC. Yakima Valley College was the East Region champion during the regular season and earned one of the top seeds into the eight team tournament where they beat Everett CC for the title 5-2.

Maley also received an academic excellence award from the NWAC for spring quarter.
