Healthy Tekoa Coalition adds mentoring service

Healthy Tekoa Coalition recently trained adult volunteers to mentor youths in grades five and six. The transition years from grade school to junior high were chosen as a target age because often times there is an incredibly high amount of stress and anxiety that comes with that transition. The mentors are part of a well-trained social network of residents.

The trained mentors include Diane Harp, Deborah Dean, Fran Martin, Becky McHargue, Connie Marsh, Laurie Shrope, Pete Martin, Hal Whitman, Greg Blomgren, Monte Morgan, Carol Sturhman and Robin Harp.
