St. John's Skylar Smith roars around the course at Webb's Slough Saturday in his red Wave Digger 34 boat in the 400 class. The home entry was among 26 boats on the card that raced in three classes before a large crowd of fans who turned out despite the clouds and occassional rain. Smith place third in his class.
