Public Hearing Notice

Aging & Long Term Care of Eastern Washington (ALTCEW) is holding a Public Hearing to receive comments on plans for addressing significant issues, needs, gaps or obstacles that impact older persons or individuals needing long-term care services in Whitman County. Topics will include discussion on the prioritization of discretionary funds, the programs and services out for bid via a Request for Proposal, the proposed 2016 budget, and a report on accomplishments during 2014-2015.

Washington State Department of Transportation staff considered all relevant environmental and social aspects of a proposed improvement to add passing lanes at several locations along US 195 between Spangle and Colfax, located in Whitman County.

Using State Environmental Policy Act Rules (Chapter 197-11 WAC), we reviewed a complete environmental checklist and other relevant information on file. We concluded this action will not have probable significant adverse impacts on the environment resulting from its completion. We issued a DNS for the proposal.
