Writing can be considered a rather personal form of art, whether or not the author is inclined to share their work with the world. However, Starla Simmons Meighan, a clinical assistant professor in integrative physiology and neuroscience at Washington State University, is one writer who not only wanted to share her work with others, but also wanted to grow and develop with other local writers.
