Life-long Dusty resident Oscar Broeckel dies at 93

Oscar Broeckel, 93, Dusty native and life-long farmer in the Dusty area, passed away Sunday, June 26. He is survived by his children Doreen (Tom) Riedner, Dusty; Denise (Tony) Kendall, Tacoma, and Brian (Angela) Broeckel, Dusty; three step-grandchildren, Alex, Sami and Graham BeDell; one brother, Randall (Pat) Broeckel, Vancouver; and many relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline.
