Cougs top NC twice

Whitman Cougars Tuesday defeated North Central twice in a pair of makeup games. The Cougars posted a 10-run lead after three innings in the first game, which saw the NC starting pitcher hit six Cougar batters. Final score of the win in the opener was 18-1.

Second game score finished at 11-4 for the Cougars who will be back at McDonald Park July 5 to play Ferris in a double bill.

The Cougars are now 10-0 in their division and 10-7 overall with eight games left.
