Rosalia scout leads repair project

Rosalia Eagle scout candidate Troy Pittsley and his mom, Angie Hackney, are shown at a porch repair project which was done at the Alice Porter Memorial Library. Pittsley led a team to repair the decaying south end of the library porch June 25.

A senior at Rosalia High School, he raised $761 and recruited eight volunteers for the project. The volunteers were Linda, Joe and Ben Pritchett, Dvir Abrams, Beau St. John, Mac McGrath, Angie Hackney and Scout leader Brad Hodges.
