Rudy Kendall, Hooper bus driver

Rudy E. Kendall, known as R.E., is shown here at the wheel of a Hooper School bus in 1924.

Kendall also worked at that time for the McGregor orchards at Hooper.

He and his wife, Luta Garland Kendall, had five children.

They later moved to the west side of the state during the 1930s, and Mr. Kendall had a long career with the Boeing Co. Tom Kendall of St. John, one of five children in the family, provided the photo to the Gazette.
