Surprise birthday party

Jenny Meyer's children and spouses June 25 held a surprise birthday party for her, celebrating her upcoming 60th birthday. The event was at The Courtyard with more than 100 relatives and friends attending.

Visiting Willy and Anne Lowe for a week of June 24 through July 2 were their daughters and husbands. Stephanie and Arthur Dever came from Melbourne, Fla.; Dee Anne and Douglas Hill, Kent. Lloyd Hartshorn, an Alaska friend, came from Plains, Mont., to visit with the girls, whom he hadn't seen in 30 years. While here, the girls visited with their aunt, Corrine Lowe of Steptoe.
