Brink family gathers at Lyons Ferry

Larry and Di Brink, along with Mike Stine of LaCrosse, drove to Lyons Ferry Marina for the weekend. Meeting them there were Kevin, Amber, Ashley, Kloey, Ellie and Nick Brink of Kennewick; John, Brandi, Myla and Alexia Brink, Colfax; Amber’s brother, Robert and Sara Hrabak and children Sarah, Rayna, Katie and Junior; Joshua Bay, Mount Lake Terrace and Tom Phillips, Las Vegas.

Driving down for the day to join the group were Lucky and Joan Myrick.

The Hans Van Oostrum family from The Netherlands stayed at the Parsonage Bed and Breakfast over the weekend. They took in the sights of Palouse Falls, Steptoe Butte, harvest activity and enjoyed the Penawawa Warm Springs Ranch peaches that are in season.

Mark and Andrea Davis will be commissioned Friday night at 7 p.m. at the Onecho Bible Church. Andrea is a granddaughter of David and Phyllis Stueckle.

They plan to depart soon for England where they will serve as missionaries.

After the 4th of July, Susan and Joe Lynch and daughters Cecilia and Abigail, Indiana, stayed with Susan’s parents, Dick and Helen Appel, for 10 days. Various family members stopped by while they were visiting. Joe had to return early to his research at Purdue University. Deb and Bob Stavig and daughters Jessica Wanke and Alyssa Stavig were visitors for several days. Dick and Bob managed to go fishing two days. Lisa and Travis Frei’s daughters Miriam, Rachel, Emma and Colette spent the weekend with grandparents, Helen and Grandpa Dick.

Judy and Jasmine Watson went to Airway Heights Sunday to see a two-year-old camel, Jeffrey.

Overnight guest Friday and Saturday at the home of Karen Broeckel was her great-great-niece, Murphy Nolan, daughter of Andrew and Emily Nolan of Colfax.
