Charge alleges harassment, river chase

An Oct. 17 trial date was set Friday morning in superior court for Trevor Cheff, 49, Sequim, after he pleaded not guilty to charges of harassment, reckless endangerment and driving under the influence. Cheff was arrested July 13 after sheriff’s deputies received a report of harassment on Wawawai Road along the Snake River.

The alleged victims said Cheff threatened to kill them and later chased them along Wawawai Road in a Ford truck. The report said the victim and his girlfriend had to stop at the railroad tracks at Nisqually John Landing on the Wawawai Road along the Snake River. That is wher...
