Zoe Moser receives leadership scholarship

Zoe Moser, Colton High School class of 2016, has been awarded a $40,000 college scholarship to attend the University of Washington, beginning in the fall of 2016. Moser was one of hundreds to apply and was selected for this highly-competitive scholarship based on her outstanding academic record in high school.

Applicants for the National Student Leadership Foundation Scholarship are evaluated on academic excellence, demonstrated leadership in extracurricular activities, submitted essays and letters of recommendations. The recipients of the scholarship are chosen by the scholarship board.

Moser attended the NSLC session on Mastering Leadership in the summer of 2015. Student scholars are selected to participate from across the United States and from more than 70 different countries based upon academic excellence, extracurricular involvement and demonstrated leadership ability.

The NSLC was established in 1989 and offers leadership conferences to high school students from around the world.
