Tuesday's run of the primary election ballots show Whitman County voters returned a strong vote for Republican candidates in the primary election. On top of the card was a county win by Bill Bryant, Republican challenger to Gov. Jay Inslee who is seeking election to another term.
Bryant, a former Port of Seattle commissioner who has made campaign swings through the county, nudged the incumbent Democrat 1,728 to 1,648 in the Whitman County count.
