Trial date set on car heist charge

A Sept. 19 trial date has been set for Schyler L. Horlacher-Dush, 20, Coeur d’Alene, after he pleaded not guilty July 22 in superior court to a charge of taking a motor vehicle without permission. He was arrested June 17 after he was located walking along Dry Creek Road north of Colfax.

According to a city police report, a 1987 Subaru which was found abandoned just north of Colfax was determined to have come from the Master’s Touch lot along Main Street in Colfax.
