Pomeroy strokers seek 10th consecutive league win

Pomeroy swim team will go after a 10th straight team win of the Cluckey Cup at the all-league meet for the Tri-County novice swim league Saturday at the Colfax pool. Pomeroy will be among six teams who are expected to bring swimmers to the all-day meet which will start at 10 a.m.

Pomeroy last year won the trophy by rolling up 353 points. They finished 50 points ahead of number-two Pullman.

American Price Barbecue, operated by Richie Vecchio of Pomeroy, will provide food service during the all-day meet at the Colfax pool.
