Motorcycle rider hurt

William Warnock, 36, Lewiston, was taken by Colfax ambulance to Whitman Hospital Saturday night after he was injured in a motorcycle accident on Hume Road east of Steptoe. Warnock’s injuries were reported to be non-life threatening.

According to the report by Sheriff’s Sgt. Dan Brown, Warnock was riding southbound on Hume Road at 7:38 p.m. and failed to negotiate a curve to the left. The motorcycle went down a grass embankment.
