Thursday, Aug. 25

Colton – 2:30 p.m. – Snap Circuit Fun – Electricity, motors, resistance, capacitors, transistors, meters and integrated circuits OH MY! Kids ages 10 and older are invited to join in learning about electronics with the fun-filled Snap Circuit Kits. To register or for more information call Holly at 509-229-3887.

Colton – 5:30 p.m. – Bingo and Pie – Come play some bingo and eat pie while the kids watch a movie in their pajamas.

Colton – 5:30 p.m. – Pajamas and a Movie – Calling all kids, throw on your pajamas, grab your favorite stuffed animal and come watch a movie at the library with your friends. Bring your parents so they can play Bingo on the other side of the library building.

Friday, Aug. 26

Garfield – 6 p.m. – Adult Coloring – Did you know that coloring promotes relaxation, reduces stress and anxiety and can help improve your overall mood, along with many other benefits. Enjoy some coffee, conversation and coloring. Bring your favorite coloring book or use the pages provided.

Monday, Aug. 29

Uniontown – 4:30 p.m. – Bingo Night – Please join the library as it hosts Bingo Night. Win some fabulous prizes, enjoy complimentary beverages and snacks provided by friends of the library.

Tekoa – 6 p.m. – Attentive Parenting Classes – A six-week program for parents with children age 2-6 to teach active parenting skills. Completers of the course will receive a book and incentive. LaCrosse – 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. – Adult Coloring – Come join us for an evening of relaxation and color. Coloring has been proven to lower blood presssure. So come for health reasons as well as the fellowship. Bring your own coloring pens and pencils or use the libraries. Snacks provided.

Tuesday, Aug. 30

Albion – 10 – 11:30 a.m. – Play and Learn – Play and Learn is a fun, intentional play time for young children, giving them a variety of opportunities to explore and grow while interacting with their peers. This time is also for parents and other caregivers to visit and share ideas about nurturing the growing minds in their care.

Wednesday, Aug. 31

Malden – Noon – Book-nic – This is a picnic with books. Bring a sack lunch and a blanket to the park next to the library. We will eat together, play games and read some great books. This event is for all kids and kids-at-heart. (Weather permitting, we may have a water-fight.)
