ASSAULT ARREST AT CLARKSTON

James Pressnell, 52, Clarkston, was booked into jail early Aug. 25 after he was arrested in Clarkston on a probable charge of second degree assault which allegedly took place in Whitman County.

According to the arrest report, a deputy was dispatched to Clarkston at 5 p.m. Wednesday when they received a report from Tri-State Hospital in Clarkston of a woman being treated there for lacerations to her head and neck.

The alleged victim was Pressnell’s spouse who said she had been injured in an assault when Pressnell hit her head against rocks at Nisqually John Landing....
