Appel duo visits daughters

Dick and Helen Appel spent a week visiting their daughters, Barb Wollstein and Deb Stavig. Barb and Bruce Wollstein, Lacey, treated Dick to a Mariners game for his birthday. They also attended the baptism of one of their newest great-granddaughters, Quinn Marie Corrigan. They then spent several days visiting Deb and Bob Stavig in Brush Prairie.

Local Appel families gathered at the home of Dick and Helen Appel to celebrate Dick’s birthday. Those attending included Eric and Shannon Appel and Sidney and Kyle, Dusty; Caroline and Rob Kunkel and Zack, Kade, Elly and Luciene, Pullman; Neil and Liz Appel and Josh, Noemi, Issac, John Paul and Grace, Dusty, and Lisa and Travis Frei and Miriam, Rachel, Emma and Collete, Palouse.

Sunday, Linda Hennigar and Jim Moore were among approximately 25 guests in Potlatch attending the first birthday party for Hennigar’s great-great-niece, Tayzlee Boller, daughter of Nick Boller and Jordyn Pollack. Tayzlee is also the great-granddaughter of Jack and the late Marilyn Hennigar, former Whitman County residents.
