Dr. Marv Slind

to speak at Selbu

Dr. Marv Slind will give a presentation on "The Lutheran Church Among Norwegian Immigrants" Sunday at Selbu Lutheran Church at 10:45 a.m. Dr. Slind is professor emeritus of history at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. He was a member of the WSU faculty from 1977 until 2000.

Dr. Slind is the son of Gilbert Slind who farmed in the Selbu area and later moved to Burlington. He is a nephew of the late Dr. Ole Slind of Colfax.
