Troy's Chase Blazzard threw for 236 yards on 9-of-15 attempts for four touchdowns in a rout over Garfield/Palouse.
The Trojans' David Blum ran for 98 yards and made 11 tackles while Cameron Barnes caught five passes for 156 yards.
For Garfield/Palouse, quarterback Evan Weagraff ran for 108 yards, mostly in the first half. Travis Knauff rushed for 95 yards.
“It was a little bit better game than the score indicated,” said Vikings coach Will Woltering.
Garfield/Palouse was held scoreless in the first half, getting on the board in the third quarter on a 19-yard pass from Weagraff to tight end Mason Bates.
The team played without key senior tailback Cameron Springstead, who is out with a dislocated elbow.
The Vikings have a bye this week, followed by another road non-league game at Lakeside (Plummer, Idaho).
“We have a lot to work on,” said Woltering.
