Smart driver class Sept. 27 in Colfax

An eight-hour Smart Driver class, developed by the American Association of Retired Persons, will be Tuesday, Sept. 27, in the first floor auditorium of the Whitman County Public Service Building at 310 N. Main in Colfax from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with a break for lunch at mid-day.

Pre-registration is strongly encouraged. Class fees are $15 for AARP members and $20 for non-members.

While designed especially for people age 50 and older, the course is open to individuals of any age.

Completion of the class can result in a reduction in auto insurance premiums.
