County netters win non-leaguers

Garfield/Palouse netters defeated Rosalia in a non-league match Tuesday at Palouse with Payson Griner hitting 17 kills. Line score for the Vikings win was 26-29, 18-25, 25-19 and 26-24. Griner also posted five blocks, and Ainslee Marcus had 30 assists.

Colton pegged a non-league win over Grangeville 25-23, 25-23, 15-25, 25-14 to bump its record to 3-0. Kendyl Druffel hit 12 kills for the Wildcats, and Jordan Moehrle hit 11 kills.

Abby Kelly put up 28 assists for Colton.

Oakesdale Tuesday swept Liberty in another non-league matchup 25-10 25-15 and 25-22.
