Burglars hit west county

Six burglaries were reported in the early morning hours Saturday with three of them in Endicott, one in St. John and two in Lamont. Three of the burglaries were in churches. Deputies also learned that another church was burglarized in Sprague.

All the burglaries were forced entries into buildings. A television, keyboard, computer and other electronic items were taken from the victims.

Deputies responded first to an alarm at the Endicott school where money was reported to have been taken from a cash box, according to the report from Sheriff’s Sgt. Chris Chapman.
