Perkins House will have reduced hours for October

A magnetized “closed today” sign has been affixed to the Perkins House road sign to alert passersby that the house will be closed for much of the month. If the “closed today” sign is not affixed, the house is open.

The Colfax Chamber of Commerce has had its office in the Perkins House for almost one year now, allowing the opportunity for tours of the house to be increased. For the month of October, though, the hours at the house will be reduced as Colfax Unified Executive Director Valoree Gregory, whose office is in the house, will be wrapped up with St. Ignatius Haunted Hospital tours.
