Bulldog runners place third at Harrington

Colfax boys and girls teams each booked a third-place finish Tuesday in a NE league meet hosted by Davenport at the Harrington Golf Course. Asotin runners again booked another power show with wins on both sides of the action.

Asotin boys booked a 21 score with Thomas Weaklund finishing 46 seconds ahead of the field with a 15:53 clocking. Jacob Clark of Wilbur/Creston was second at 16:39.

The Wildcats were second in team scores with a 65, and Colfax was third with an 84.

Evelin Lopez of Soap Lake led the girls race with a 19:50 time, more than a minute ahead of Katrina Stephenson of Asotin.

Gavin Merritt of Tekoa/Rosalia again led the county boys entrants with a seventh place finish at 18:13, and Rebekah Huber of Colfax led the girls with a ninth place finish at 23:08.

Chase Baerlocher again led Colfax with a ninth place finish at 18:23, and Ryley Griffiths was seven seconds behind Baerlocher at 18:30.

Other finishers for Colfax were Carson Cloaninger, 15th at 18:41; Josh Goebel, 26th at 20:11; Austin Ring, 28th at 20:31, and Doug Wilson, 47th at 22:41.

Other finishers for Tekoa/Rosalia were Isaac Leighton, 32nd at 20:39; Zane Neill, 40th at 22:00; Jeremy Weldy, 41st at 22:01; Dawson Strobel, 44th at 22:16, and AJ Harp, 59th at 33:59.

Finishers for St. John/Endicott were Domenic Treis, 27th at 20:13; Chais Anderson, 37th at 21:22, and Conr Hergert, 37th at 22:05.

Other finishers for the Colfax girls were Alicia Knee, 14th at 24:36; Tayma Vanek, 16th at 25:31; Isabelle Erickson 18th at 25:46; Kiah Miller, 23rd at 28:30, and Chelsea Becker, 30th at 30:29.

Finishers for the Eagles were Catherine Treis, 17th at 25:41; Guinevere Richmond, 26th at 30:05; Kaylie Dyas, 27th at 30:07, and Chelsea Bammes, 30th at 30:29.

Emily Leighton placed 31st at 31:16 for the Timberwolves.
