LaCrosse FFA team mans WA booth at nationals

The FFA National Convention was last week in Indianapolis, Ind. FFA members who attended were Nicole Harder, Britte Harder, Abby McGregor, Alynn Harder, Autumn Meyers, Trey Fleming, TJ Harder and Lauren Stubbs.

Weston Miller placed third in the nation in his proficiency area.

The Washington state booth was manned by the team members. This privilege was earned when the freshmen won the state competition and therefore represented Washington state at the national convention.

Tami Stubbs was credited for transporting materials.

Halloween Carnival has a new sponsor and is in a new location this year. LaCrosse Community Club is organizing the carnival, and it will be held at their building at 409 Main St. The carnival will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Hope to see all ghosts and goblins there! The annual LaCrosse Women Methodist Turkey Dinner will be on Wednesday, Nov. 2. Serving will begin at 5:30 p.m. and includes all the trimmings of a traditional Thanksgiving turkey dinner. Individual and family prices available. Everyone welcome.
