Little Free Pantry established in Pullman

Alanna Ellis and Emily Craigie pose with the Little Free Pantry established by Whitman County Fire District #12. The pantry was erected in honor of Denise Hatley, a Pullman resident and patron of the fire district who passed away earlier this year. Ellis is Hatley’s sister.

Modeled after the Little Free Library in several Whitman County communities, a Little Free Pantry has been established in Pullman.

Volunteer firefighter and EMT Emily Craigie with Whitman County Fire District 12 recently had the idea after seeing something similar on Facebook.
