Pullman Chamber honors Vogel, others

Five Pullman Chamber volunteers were honored on Oct. 27 during the 99th annual Pullman Chamber of Commerce awards banquet and general meeting at the Hilltop Inn. Awards are given in five categories to recognize volunteers and community members for their support.

--The late Ken Vogel was recognized for the Chamber Hall of Fame Historical award. He will always be remembered for his passion, dedication, good humor, opinions and his love of chocolate and of railroading.

--Bill Skavdahl was recognized as the Chamber Member of the Year.

--Linda Mittelhammer was awarded the Marshall A. Neill Community Service Award.

--Center for Civic Engagement, WSU, was awarded the Civic Improvement Award.

--Pat Wright was recognized and awarded the Chamber Hall of Fame, Modern Category award.
