Thanksgiving weekend guests at the home of Lucky and Joan Myrick were Mike Myrick, Spanaway; Michael Myrick, Yelm, and Rich Myrick and Jannetta, Moses Lake. Joining them for Thanksgiving dinner were Larry and Di Brink and Dusty and Mike Stine, LaCrosse. The Myrick children left Saturday.
Micah Morgan spent Sunday through Thursday with his grandparents, Harm and Jan Smith. During his visit, Micah used the shop to build a Lego table and a wooden “man” with moveable arms.
Prior to Thanksgiving, Joan Broeckel went to Seattle to visit her mother and sister and family. Ed joined her at the home of their daughter and son-in-law, Jen and Anthony Harkishnani, where they spent a couple of days and attended a Christmas concert together. The Broeckels hosted Thanksgiving dinner in their home for guests daughter Amber Broeckel and her fiancé Dominic Lovotti; daughter and son-in-law Jen and Anthony Harkishnani; Janice and Norm Pauls; Deanna, Tracy and Addison Jones; Carrie, Jason, Levi and Lacey Lovegren; Jason’s parents and sister, Lee, Hope and Melissa Lovegren, and Jeff, Arienne and Caleb Pauls.

Caroline Kunkel and Bruce Appel hosted Thanksgiving dinner at the home of their parents, Dick and Helen Appel. Caroline, Rob, Zack, Kade, Elly and Luciene Kunkel and Elaine, Charlie and Spenser Appel arrived on Wednesday to help prepare and set up for the next day’s dinner.
Those eating the Thanksgiving feast were Eric, Shannon, Connor, Christopher, Sarah, Kyle and Sidney Appel, Dusty; Caroline, Rob, Zack, Kade, Elly and Luciene Kunkel, Pullman; Bruce, Elaine, Charlie and Spenser Appel, Spokane, and Neil, Liz, John Paul and Grace Appel, Dusty. Kade and Zack Kunkel and Charlie Appel went for a turkey trot run before the Thanksgiving dinner. They ran about three miles, according to their grandpa, Dick Appel. All are on their respective schools’ cross country teams. Some of the rest of the guests went for a two mile walk.
