Eagles nip Tekoa/Rosalia in overtime

The SJE Eagles booked seven points in overtime Tuesday to peg a 46-43 win over Tekoa/Rosalia boys in a non-league matchup between 1B and 2B neighbors at St. John. The game went into overtime after the two clubs booked a 39-39 tie over four quarters.

The Eagles came back after trailing TR 9-20 in the first half of the low-scoring game.

Adam Blakeley led the Eagles with 17 points, and Griffin Parrish hit 13. Michael Greybeck hit 16 to lead the Timberwolves. Steven Brown and Mitchell Billings each hit seven for the Timberwolves.

Tekoa/Rosalia girls pegged a 39-24 win after breaking out for 19 points in the last quarter. They had a slim 20-17 lead going into the last quarter.

Hannah Beach hit 14 to lead Tekoa/Rosalia, and Glory Dickerson hit 11 to top the Eagles.
