STEVEN D. CLARK
The funeral for Steven D. Clark, 67, lifetime Whitman County resident, was Wednesday, Dec. 28, at 11 a.m. at Kramer Funeral Home in Palouse. Burial followed at the Viola Cemetery with an United States Army Honor Guard and the Potlatch V.F.W. Post participating.
Mr. Clark died at his home outside of Palouse Dec. 23, 2016.
Born April 29, 1949, in Colfax, to Jack and Lois (Cane) Clark, he attended schools in Pullman and graduated from Pullman High School in 1967. He joined the United States Army after high school and was honorably discharged in November 1968, after serving one tour in Vietnam. He married Susan Cochran Feb. 15, 1969, and the couple later divorced. He married Donna (Larsen) Fye Dec. 20, 1994, in Las Vegas.
He operated Steve’s Crop Care until July 1989. After that, he started Clark & Clark Trucking with his father in the early 1990s. Steve and Donna operated a llama ranch for 24 years until 2014. He was a master woodworker and made cradles, cabinets, dressers and rocking chairs. He constructed a greenhouse and solar panel system at his farm.
Surviving are his wife, Donna, at the family farm in Palouse; sons David (Chelsea) Clark and Dale Clark of Palouse; stepson Alan Fye and Kate Konen of Albion; his brother Terry (Mary Etta) Clark of Tulsa, Okla., and five grandchildren.

LEON E. LeFORCE
A memorial service for Leon E. LeForce, 68, Viola, will be Friday, Dec. 30, 2016, at 1 p.m. at the Princeton Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Kathy Lee Kramer officiating. An United States Air Force Honor Guard and the Potlatch V.F.W. Post will participate.
Mr. LeForce died Dec. 22, 2016, at the Hospice House of North Idaho in Coeur d’ Alene.
Born Oct. 4, 1948, in Pawnee, Okla., to Walter and Leona (Robbins) LeForce, he attended school in Oklahoma and graduated from Pawnee High School in 1966. He joined the United States Air Force in August 1967 and was honorably discharged in January 1971 as a sergeant. He attended Oklahoma State University and Northern Oklahoma College to study architecture and construction management.
Prior to moving to the northwest in 1989, he operated a cattle ranch and trucking company.
He married Keri Minden Aug. 17, 1996, at Harvard, Idaho. The couple made their home in Potlatch for a time and later moved to West Cove Viola in 2006. Since 2001, he worked in facility operations at Washington State University.
A member of the Potlatch American Legion, Cayuse Kids Saddle Club and the National Rifle Association, he enjoyed camping and fishing.
Surviving are his wife, Keri, at the family home, Viola; daughters Robyn (Robert) Domeny, Hope (Travis) Roberts and Holly (T.J.) Brien, all of Pawnee, Okla .; Savannah LeForce and Allyson LeForce, both of Viola; brothers Ronnie (BethAnn) LeForce of Buffalo, Okla .; Harry (Patsy) LeForce of Claremore, Okla .; Roy (Jani) LeForce of Edmond, Okla .; sister Nancy (Charles) Wills of Pawnee, Okla .; seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by an infant son, Dustin LeForce.
