Families gather at Dusty for holiday

Di and Larry Brink picked up son Tom Phillips, Las Vegas, on Wednesday, Dec. 21. They were joined Dec. 24 by John, Brandi, Myla and Alexis Brink, Colfax; Kevin, Amber, Kloey, Ellie and Nick Brink, Kennewick, and Mike Stine, LaCrosse. Christmas day, Tom Phillips, Mike Stine and Larry and Di Brink went to the home of Lucky and Joan Myrick for lunch. Monday, Dec. 26, Larry and Di and Tom and Mike Stine joined Carol and Don Keeney, LaCrosse, for supper. Phillips will return to his home on Dec. 31.

Gathering at the homes of Bryan Jones and Fran Jones for the Christmas season were granddaughter Meggie Perron, Walla Walla, and Warren and Julie Jones of Hayden, Idaho. Emilie Jones, daughter of Bryan; her friend Matt of Spokane, and Emelie’s mother, Andree’ Fancouer of Hamilton, Mont., arrived Saturday. Sharon Urtaza, first cousin of the Jones brothers, drove from New Mexico along with her three adult sons, Michael, Alex and Christian.

Donna Camp of Colfax has been a guest at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Becky Camp, since before Christmas. Joining them for dinner Christmas day were David and Phyllis Stueckle.

Linda Hennigar and Jim Moore had Christmas dinner at the home of her daughter, Tami and Jay Banks, Tri-Cities. They also visited with Dave and Elaine Stueckle Hogan and their daughter Kerry, Edmonds, in their home in Richland. Dave is recovering from a quintuple bypass heart surgery performed on Dec. 15. He was released from the hospital on the 20th.

Dusty residents who were guests of Greg and Gwen Nolan, Colfax, included Brian and Angela Broeckel and Graham, Tom and Doreen Riedner and Karen Broeckel. Other guests included Jeanette Nolan, Andrew, Emily and Murphy Nolan, Jason Nolan, Jay and Bryan Rubin, all of Colfax; Patty Wieber, Brett Wieber, Bobby and Jamie Halbig and Evie and Ezra, Spokane; Ken and Pam Beasley, Waitsburg; Zach Beasley, Walla Walla; Austin Beasley, Highland Village, Texas, and Tony and Denise Kendall, Tacoma.
