County extends fuel contract

Whitman County Public Works Tuesday extended its fuel contract with Busch Distributors for 2017.

Public Works Director Mark Storey reported to county commissioners the agreement has no change for the new year.

The contract continues with Busch selling fuel for 13.5 cents per gallon delivered over rack price.

“It’s 50-60 cents lower than the price at the pump,” Storey said.
