Cause of fire undetermined

A Sunday afternoon blaze destroyed a six-unit converted Colfax apartment house in the S. 900 block of East Street. The fire left the 10 occupants of the house homeless. Pictures here from left to right show the fire in its early stage, a smoke plume dominating the Colfax skyline and as smoke engulfs the home. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
