Colfax fire leaves 10 homeless

Fire cews battle in freezing conditions Sunday to contain a house fire in Colfax. For more pictures see page 10A.

A Sunday afternoon fire destroyed an early-day house which had been converted into six apartments on the S. 900 block of East Street in Colfax. The fire left 10 occupants of the house homeless. Colfax fire units responded to the fire at approximately 12:30 p.m. Sunday, and some crew members were at the scene until about 2 p.m. Monday.
