Thursday, Jan. 19

Tekoa – 8:30 a.m. – Attentive Parenting Workshop Series – Parenting classes on Thursday mornings; completers of the class will receive $20 incentive.

Colfax – 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. – Blood Drive – Find the hero in you and donate at the Community Blood Drive. Make your appointment online at http://www.inbcsaves.org or call 800-423-0151

Colton – 6 to 7 p.m. – Coloring and Cookies – Adults can come to the library and color the stress away.

Hyde Out in Colfax – 6:30 p.m. – Trivia Night – The Palouse Hyde Out is hosting trivia, sponsored by your Whitman County Library information professional. Bring your team, test your knowledge and win. Don’t forget to bring your library card for a bonus point.

Endicott – 7 p.m. – Ladies' Night – Cooking with essential oils with Candace Johnson. Feel free to bring a friend and a snack to share.

Rosalia – 7 p.m. – Pajama Storytime – Kids of all ages, grab your PJs, slippers, a favorite stuffed animal to snuggle with and come on down to the library for games, snacks and a bedtime story.

Friday, Jan. 20

Colfax Tek Center – 1 to 3 p.m. – LEGO Mindstorms EV3 – Explore the world of robotics during this free, hands-on STEAM program. In this two-hour class, kids grades 6 and up will build and learn basic programming to complete robot challenges. Reserve your spot today.

Malden – 6:30 to 8 p.m. Pajama Storytime – Get comfy in your favorite PJs and come hear bedtime stories at the library. Bring the whole family to enjoy stories, songs and rhymes.

Saturday, Jan. 21

St. John – 9 a.m. – Book Club – Join the Saturday morning book club in St. John to discuss a new book every month over coffee and tea. Check out Ice Princess by Camilla Lackberg for January’s meeting on audio or ebook on our Overdrive App.

Monday, Jan. 23

St. John – 6:30 p.m. – Pajama Storytime – Grab your stuffed animals and blankets and make your way to the library for bedtime stories and fun. All children and families welcome.

Tuesday, Jan. 24

Colfax – 2 to 4 p.m. – BINGO and Pie – Seniors are welcome to play BINGO, win prizes and enjoy coffee and pie.

Palouse – 3:30 to 4:40 p.m.– Crazy 8s – Join us Tuesdays for eight weeks of Bedtime Math’s Crazy 8s Club, where you’ll race across the country, make music with your hands and feet, build stuff, make a mess, train to be a firefighter and more. It’s a totally new kind of math.

Wednesday, Jan. 25

Colfax - 4 p.m. - WCL Board Meeting - Meetings are open to the public, and community members are encouraged to attend.

Garfield – 1 p.m. – Ozobots STEM Program – Tiny robots are invading the Garfield Library. Kids grades 5 and up are invited to come explore robotic programming and learn to digitally control the Ozobots.

LaCrosse – 1 p.m. – Early Release Wednesday – Kids are invited to join in on the fun this Wednesday for this special elementary school program with themes varying from art to science and more.

Thursday, Jan. 26

Rosalia – 4 to 5 p.m. – Ozobots STEM Program – What is an Ozobot? Ozobots are tiny line-following robots programmed by color by creating code. Kids grades 5 and up are invited to come explore robotics in this fun STEM program.
