Colfax – Blind Date with a Book – Didn’t get what you wanted for Valentine’s Day? Why not check out our clues and select a mystery book without knowing the title…and maybe you’ll fall in love. Promotion runs through the month of February.

Tekoa – 8:30 a.m. – Attentive Parenting Workshop Series – Parenting classes are typically available Thursday mornings through March 2. Completers of the class will receive a $20 incentive.

Albion, Colfax, Colton, Farmington – Third Thursday – Afterschool Fun. Contact your local library or view our online calendar for specifics about your branch. Colfax has a special event this Thursday, “Weather and You”, with KREM 2 Anchor Briana Bermensolo.

Endicott – 7 p.m. Ladies Night – Join us is discussing the book, “We Are All Completely Beside Ourselves” by Karen Joy Fowler. Feel free to bring a snack to share.

Friday, Feb. 17

Endicott, Malden, St. John and Uniontown – Storytime - Children and families, check out storytime at your local library. Children will hear stories, sing songs, learn rhymes, make crafts and stretch their imaginations. To see specific dates and times for your library branch, please view our online calendar.

Saturday, Feb. 18

St. John – 9 a.m. – Book Club - Join the Saturday morning book club in St. John to discuss “Sugar Time” by local author L. A. Malby. The book club meets every month with coffee, tea and great conversation.

Sunday Feb. 19 and Monday, Feb. 20

All 14 branches will be closed for President’s Day.

Tuesday, Feb. 21

Colfax – 2 to 4 p.m. – Cookies and Coloring – Did you know that coloring promotes relaxation, reduces stress, AND can help improve your overall mood? That’s right, coloring isn’t just for kids anymore. Drop in and enjoy cookies, coloring, and conversation with other seniors.

Albion – 5 p.m. – Adult Water Color Painting Class – Want to spend an evening relaxing while being creative? Well come on down to the Albion Library and make something beautiful.

Palouse – 7 p.m. – Washington State Poet Laureate Reading – You are invited to a reading by our current Washington State Poet Laureate, Tod Marshall.

Wednesday, Feb. 22

Uniontown – 5:30 p.m. – BINGO and Pie – Enjoy a fun evening with friends and family eating pie, playing BINGO, and winning! All ages are welcome.

Tekoa – 6 p.m. – Family Trivia Game – Come play and win prizes. Families with children ages 5 and up are welcome. Each family will compete as a team answering questions about Disney, animals, fairytales and more.

Thursday, Feb. 23

Albion – 5 p.m. – Fireside Chats – It has been a cold winter. Come sit around our library “fire” and have a cup of tea or cocoa. Chat with friends or bring something to work on; same time every Thursday.

St. John Rialto – 6:30 p.m. – Trivia Night – Bring your team or join one when you arrive, test your knowledge and win! Don’t forget to bring your library card for a bonus point.
