Tekoa hires courier to deliver samples

Citing concerns since last fall that the postal service does not always deliver weekly samples within the required time of 24 hours, Tekoa City Council has opted to use a courier system.

Tekoa entered into an agreement for delivery of its sewer and water samples to Anatek Laboratories in Spokane within 24 hours to Rich Chittenden of Tekoa. He will transport the weekly samples for $20 per trip. Chittenden will also retrieve sample bottles to bring back for new samples.
