Colfax Golf Course – 6:30 p.m. – Trivia Night – Join us for the second trivia night at the golf club. Individuals and teams of up to eight are welcome. Pizza by the slice will be available. Extra points for teams with their library cards.
Friday, March 3
Colfax – 4:45 to 6 p.m. – Kids’ Corner – Kids, don’t put off your homework until Sunday night right before bedtime. Get it done early with homework helper Amanda from WSU. If you do not have homework, Amanda can read with you, craft, or play educational games. “Learning Time with Amanda” will be every Friday in March.
Saturday, March 4
Colfax – Tom Mohr Photo Exhibit: Why I Moved to Colfax – Visual explanation of Mohr’s relocation from the Big Apple to the Palouse, including colorful landscapes and panoramas with pieces more than 20 feet in length. On display in The Center, now through April 30. There will be a community reception on Friday, March 10, from 5-7 p.m.

Colfax – Herblock on Democracy – View this national exhibit by famed political cartoonist, Herblock, on display on the main floor until March 26. Handouts and Herblock’s biography are available at no cost.
Monday, March 6
Colfax – 3:30 p.m. – Caregiver Coffee Group – All caregivers are welcome to attend this free event for support and discussion every first and third Monday of the month with a representative of Rural Resources.
St. John – 11 a.m. – Lapsit Storytime – Babies and toddlers are invited to bring their favorite adult to the library for songs, finger play and stories.
Tuesday, March 7
Colfax – 11 a.m. – Friends of the library meeting – Meetings are the first Tuesday of every month; come in and see what being a Friend of the Library is all about.
Colfax – 5:30 to 7 p.m. – Yoga for a Cause – Begin with a Vinyasa flow and take a quick break at 6:30 to move into restorative phase. Stay for the entire practice or use the break to come and go. This program benefits The Center Restroom Project, Local Food Pantry and seniors’ BINGO and Pie.
Colfax – 5:30 p.m. – Steptoe Butte Public Forum – Participate in the discussion of long-term plans for Steptoe Butte Park and its possible expansion. Give us your input and support for public access to this cherished piece of the Palouse.

Colfax – 12 p.m. – Colfax Connects Community Luncheon – Working together for Colfax, join various businesses and organizations as they share their news, events and issues. Contact the Chamber to order your lunch at (509) 553-9729
Colfax – 5 to 7 p.m. – Retirement Seminar – Explore and optimize your Social Security options at this free event with Financial Advisor Bill Skavdahl. Rosalia – 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. – Play and Learn – Free play time at the library for children 6 and younger, but everyone is welcome. Enjoy fun and engaging learning with a STREAM base, designed to foster creativity, teamwork, exploration and curiosity.
