Reading is Dog-Gone Good Fun was the theme imprinted on the 2016-17 Book Bash T-shirts designed by the participating fifth graders. LaCrosse students in grades K-5 participated. Those students who voluntarily read the required minutes for their grade and earned this free T-shirt were Ladd Baser, Cady Blankenship, Jack Baser, Brady Blankenship, Brianna Camp, Lillyanna Hammer, Chase Harder, Gracie and Cooper Schwartz, Brody Fleming, Olivia McGregor, Ty Pierson, Theory Proctor, Chloe Waddel, Ben Bailey, Avery Fleming, Quincy Morris, Ellie Pierson, Landon Miller, Julia Guske and Matthew Thompson.
Students who read 600 minutes also received a free ticket to Silverwood amusement park. Many staff members also read and earned the T-shirt. Thanks for helping our students become life-long readers.
The Goodwill truck will be at LaCrosse Community Outreach March 7-12, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The truck will be parked in front of the Thrift Store with someone there to assist with loading donations.
LaCrosse residents with physical limitations who still want to donate may contact the Outreach to schedule pickup.
