Conflating

In a letter to the editor last week, Mark Bordsen was outraged that the President characterized the mainstream media as ‘the enemy’. In the technical nuance of the words, Mr. Bordsen may be accurate in that the mainstream is not an ‘enemy’.

However, it is unarguable that the mainstream media has shed the fiction of objective journalism and has become the President’s political opposition.
