Dusty B.B. Club met at Diane Monson’s home March 8. Present were Dianne Appel, Helen Appel, Liz and Grace Appel, Fran Jones, Fran Maki, Diane Monson and Sandy Passmore. The women enjoyed dessert, coffee and visiting. The April 12 meeting will be at Abundant Faith in Colfax. Details will be forwarded to members at a later date.
Saturday, Larry and Di Brink spent the day in Spokane with cousin Camille Patterson. They celebrated a late Christmas and their birthdays during the visit.
Saturday, Linda Hennigar and Jim Moore joined approximately 30 guests in Potlatch to help Linda’s great-great-nephew, Emmit Hennigar, son of Blake and Hayley Hennigar, and great-grandson of Jack and the late Marilyn Hennigar, celebrate his second birthday.
Kim and Cindy Pitts report that spring is right around the corner at their place. Tulips have started poking through the soil.
Dick and Helen Appel were invited for dinner at the home of Neil and Liz Appel to enjoy the trout their family caught at Pampa Pond that afternoon. The fishermen were Neil, Liz, Josh, Noemi, Isaac, John Paul and Grace Appel. Joining them were Lisa and Travis Frei and Miriam, Rachel, Emma and Colette, who helped consume the catch.
Karen Broeckel spent last week in Spokane house and critter sitting for her sister Patty Wieber while Wieber, Jeanette Nolan and Wieber’s daughter and son-in-law, Jamie and Bobby Halbig, were in Las Vegas for the West Coast Conference Basketball Tournament, supporting the Gonzaga men’s and women’s teams.
Keeping Broeckel entertained at the Wieber home was her 11 month old great-great niece, Murphy Nolan, daughter of Andrew and Emily Nolan. The Nolans were in the process of moving from Colfax to Spokane.
