Flood waters at Palouse reached picnic-table height at Hayton Greene Park March 21, covering almost the entire park at the west end of Palouse.

The North Fork of the Palouse River showed a height of 17.45 feet at 6:30 a.m. that morning but three hours later had dropped to 17.1 feet, leveling off.
