Augie Allenbach tops Colfax golf opener

Sophomore Augie Allenbach finished with a one-under 37 Tuesday in a three-team NE league meet at the Colfax Golf Course. Colfax, St. George's and Kettle Falls golfers competed on a partial Colfax course and finished just before the rains returned.

Maddy Christianson of St. George's topped the girls side with a 46. McKenna Davis topped the Colfax girls with a 50.

Golfers played holes two through ten twice on the wet Colfax course for a par 38.

Bruce Perisho, who has been a volunteer assistant coach for Colfax golf for five years, is head coach of the team this year. Assistant coach for the team this year is Kristina Ward.
