Colfax High School FCCLA chapter members competed at state events in Kennewick March 8-10, and 11 qualified to compete at nationals in Nashville, Tenn.
Ryley Griffiths and Kylie Kackman will represent the state in their food innovations. They produced their own protein bar for teenagers.
Student evaluators going to nationals will be Bryan Rubin, Brooklyn Smith, Doug Wilson, Annie Larkin, Faith Markley, Cheyanne Stokes, Airelle Grimaud, Hailey Lomax, Tayma Vanek and their adviser Altaira Bogle.
The organization hopes to raise $15,000 to cover all their costs for their trip to Nashville.
