Riedners host sausage session

Attending the second annual Riedner sausage making event at Tom and Doreen Riedner’s home in Dusty were David and Kerri Weitz, Colfax; Heather Weitz-Sink with sons Carter and Logan, Kara Weitz-Yecha, all of Richland; Lauren Meacham with sons Cody and Clayton, Colfax; Brenden Jacobs, Pullman; Taylor Gordon and Justin Corona, Colfax; Debbie Riedner, Colton; Terry and Sandy Weitz, Colfax, and Tyler Mertes, Pullman. The group produced 300 pounds of sausage.

John Brink and daughters Myla and Alexia were overnight guests at the home of his parents/their grandparents, Larry and Di Brink, Saturday night. They were joined by Mike Stine, LaCrosse, on Saturday. John and daughters returned to their home Sunday after church.

Carrie Pitts, Yakima, spent the weekend with her parents, Kim and Cindy Pitts.

Karen Broeckel spent most of the weekend in Spokane as a guest of her sister Patty Wieber. Friday, she babysat Murphy and Holden, children of Andrew and Emily Nolan. Saturday, she attended the fourth celebration of Murphy Nolan’s first birthday with relatives of Emily Nolan’s family. She watched the Gonzaga and Oregon games at the Wieber home along with her sister Patty, nephew Brett Wieber and niece, husband Jamie and Bobby Halbig. Broeckel returned to her home Sunday morning.

Dusty B.B. Club has scheduled its next meeting for April 12, at 9 a.m. at the Abundant Faith Studio in Colfax. The project members will make a garden sign that can be used outdoors. The cost for materials for each participant will be $25. Notify and pay Liz Appel before April 5 so she can let the studio know and they can prepare the wood and stencils before the meeting.
