Don George Lee

Don George Lee, 88, died March 24, 2017, in LaGrange Park, Ill., where he resided for the past 50 years. Mr. Lee was raised in Colfax where his father, George Lee, partnered with George Perry to operate the Perry & Lee clothing store on Main Street in Colfax. He graduated from Colfax High School with the class of 1946 and from Washington State College. He served in Korea where he earned the Combat Infantry Badge and was discharged as a First Lieutenant. He worked more than 30 years as an auditor with Equitable Life Assurance Society.

He and wife Sally were married for 54 years.

Surviving are his wife, two children Tom (Rena) Lee and Margaret (Doug) Hedberg, and one granddaughter.

Services were at LaGrange Park. Mr. Lee will be buried at the Colfax Cemetery. The family suggests memorials go to the charity of the donor's choice.
