Vikings sweep Touchet

Playing at Touchet March 31, the Garfield/Palouse baseball team won 5-2 and 2-0 to take the doubleheader.

In the second game, the Vikings' Blake Jones used 84 pitches, with five strikeouts while Touchet pitcher Ben Ortiz struck out 12 Gar/Pal batters.

The Vikings got on the board in the fourth inning on a groundout and fly-out from Mason Bates and Riley Pedersen.

In the opener, Evan Weagraff pitched for Gar/Pal, striking out 11 batters.
